We at Financial Insights, LLC have always valued the trust our clients have placed in us and are committed to the responsible management, use, and protection of our clients’ personal information. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect About You

Financial Insights, LLC collects personal information about you once engaged in a consulting agreement to help facilitate your financial consultation and fulfill legal and regulatory requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, information such as your name, address, birth date, Social Security number, account numbers and tax information.

Financial Insights, LLC collects nonpublic personal information from you as well as from other sources. The sources and the information collected may include but are not limited to: 

Information You Provide to Us

  • Information you provide to us through telephonic, face-to-face meetings, electronic communication(s) including video and digital, postal or express courier services, and fax.

  • Information you provide to or from other unaffiliated third parties: tax preparers, employers, associations, benefit plan sponsors, estate planners, insurance agents attorneys, communication coaches, business valuation specialists, pension valuators, experts and other professionals involved in scope of your engagement with Financial Insights, LLC.

Sharing Information 

We provide information about current or former clients from the sources described above to parties outside of our Firm only as described below: 

  • As authorized by you. You may direct us, for example, to send information you provided us to a third party. 

  • To a third party as necessary for the purpose for which it was provided, to enforce our terms of service or any other agreement between you and Financial Insights, LLC. 

  • We may disclose any of the nonpublic personal information that we collect about you, as required to fulfill our engagement agreement or terms of service between Financial Insights, LLC and you and as permitted or required by law or regulation (i.e., responses to a subpoena or court order). 

  • We may provide your information to any successor interest in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Financial Insight’s assets and/or business.

  • We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights or when compelled by a court or other governmental entity to do so.

Confidentiality and Security 

We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to maintain the confidentiality of your information. 

We do not sell, share, or disclose your nonpublic personal information to unaffiliated third-party marketing companies.

Rest assured that when you visit our site, we will not try to gather any personal identifiable information from you without your knowing it. As a visitor to this Website, you can engage in most activities without providing any personal information. It is only when you seek to download resources, communicate with us or register for services, that you are required to provide information.

When accessing the Website, Financial Insights, LLC will learn certain information about you, both automatically and through voluntary actions you may take, during your visit.  This policy applies to information we collect on the Website and in email, text, or other electronic messages between you and the Website.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technology

Financial Insights, LLC reserves the right to use these pixels in compliance with the policies of the various social media sites.

If you choose to correspond with us through email, you are by default providing us with an email address. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the bottom of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you. You may review our current policy online at any time. Privacy protections apply automatically to all of our clients and former clients.
